The Timothy Ministry Team (TMT), is a Christian bible school situated in Wellington, South Africa.

The Timothy Leadership Project (TLP) was started by and still strongly linked to First Love Church. The team was led by Jurie and Karin Kriel, who are now part of the Doxa Deo group. The first 10 students was enrolled in January 2001. At that stage they presented a theology course majoring in leadership. The course mainly consisted out of Christian Life training material, but was later discontinued. From 2004 more majors were added and in 2007 the name was formally changed to the Timothy Ministry Team (TMT). Currently TMT consists of about 40 members.
TMT presents an accredited bachelors degree in Theology (B.Th) with an option of majoring in leadership, counseling, worship or prophetic.
TMT operates in partnership with the South African Theological Seminary (SATS). SATS is accredited with the Council of Higher Education (CHE) and registered with the Department of Education (DoE) as a private higher education institute. SATS is also a founding member of the National Association of Distance Education Organizations in South Africa.
In addition to the theoretical training provided TMT also requires a substantial amount of practical training to complete students' training.
A non-accredited one year course called "One" is presented for students wishing to spend time to build a biblical foundation before starting to work or study. It focuses on basic theology, outreach programs and life skills. During the One Year Course students share a house for which they become responsible to maintain.
Students at TMT spend 4–6 weeks a year reaching out to various schools, churches and communities all over South Africa. They are also involved a number of weekly outreaches in the local community. As part of First Love Church there are also options to attend international outreaches.
Currently TMT is led by a team of 4 people:
TMT is situated in an old building, built in a pillazo style during the 1920’s. Previously it was used as a boy’s school, an army barracks and a hospital. Now it serves as First Love's church hall, administration offices,cafeteria, classrooms and a small hostel accommodating some of the students. The building is built around a quad area that features the original fountain.
1. The Authority and Power of the Bible - We believe that the Bible is the inspired and only infallible and authoritative Word of God, without error in all that it affirms. It is our only rule of faith and practice. We acknowledge the power of God's Word to accomplish His purpose.
2. God - We affirm our belief in one God, eternally existent in three persons: God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit; the special creation of the universe as depicted in the Genesis account.
3. The Father - We believe in God the Father, the first person of the Trinity. He is sovereign, eternal and unchangeable in all His attributes and worthy of love, honour, adoration and obedience.
4. The Uniqueness of Christ - We affirm our belief in the deity of the only Son of God - our Lord Jesus Christ - His virgin birth, sinless life and miracles, His atoning death on the cross, His bodily resurrection, and in His ascension to the right hand of the Father.
5. Salvation - We believe that we are saved by grace through faith in the person and work of Jesus Christ; and that Jesus is the only way to the Father.
6. The Holy Spirit - We believe in the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling presence the Christian is enabled to live a holy life.
7. The Return of Christ - We believe in the blessed hope of the personal, visible, and future return of Jesus Christ to this earth to eternally receive to Himself His Church. We believe in the resurrection of the saved and the lost, the one to everlasting life and the other to everlasting judgement and damnation.
